Fondue is probably one of my favorite meals. It’s such a simple meal yet it pleases me so much! When I got my Crockpot (slow cooker) during our wedding shower (Thanks Henry and Lina!) Chris and I immediately thought about making fondue. It’s not something you would traditionally think of with a Crockpot, but we just aren’t normal.
On several occasions we’ve attempted fondue in a pot over our stove but the clean up just isn’t easy. The cheese always sticks and hardens at the bottom, making cleaning really difficult and time consuming. This does not happen with a Crockpot!
Check out the simple directions below. I recommend starting this before you get hungry because it does take an hour for the cheese to get to the right temperature.
